A Friend In Need Deserves A Cercy Indeed
The city girl loves sharing a cercy. In fact, you can read about her love of cercies here. Anyhow, if you read the title of this post, you may have guessed that the city girl would be telling you about a cercy or perhaps a few. Well, if you did, you are right! Cercy for you. No need to worry, it’s in the mail.
So, the city girl began her day with a meeting. A very productive meeting, in fact. She was planning another Food Truck Food Court. Only this one was to be in Cayce. Sidebar: If you didn’t know, Elise Partin is the mayor of Cayce. And she is fabulous! Do a little research. She is Cayce’s first female mayor. And if you think that is as cool as the city girl thinks it is, head over here and show our support. Elise loves her charming city and that shows. Back to the story, once her meeting was finished, the city girl decided to pay it forward with a pair of cercies.
She headed over to EdVenture, the largest Children’s Museum in the Southeast and home to Eddie, the World’s Largest Child (you should go), where the Pawleys Mobile Eats food truck was parked. She picked up an order of fried Oreo’s. That’s right – Oreo goodness that is coated in sweet batter and deep fried. Yummo! You’ll have to stop by the truck and taste for yourself. On this particular occasion, they were served with a side of gooey caramel. Double yummo!
She had already picked up some flowers. It was time for the first of two covert ops. She snuck into the building where her friend works and asked the secretary to make a special delivery to her desk. Her friend was a bit down that week and needed a little pick-me-up. In the city girl’s world, that is code for cercy. Amazingly, she pulled it off without her friend seeing her. Phew! Success! See for yourself.
Nothing cheers the city girl up like fresh flowers. She often shares with her friends, or anyone that will listen, willingly or not, that if she won the lottery, amongst other things she would have flowers sent to her home on a regular schedule. Thus, her friends are subject to her floral fanaticism. So far, no one h as complained, probably because she gives champagne, too.
After completing overt op number one, it was time to see if she could pull off another. Risky. She snuck back downstairs to her car and headed to stop number two. This was a bit tricker because stop number one has a security guard at the front desk and stop number two was a but more accessible, meaning more chance the surprisee number two might be milling about.
She arrived at the second location, with cercy in tow. She snuck into the front door and luckily the city girl was greeted by the receptionist, and only the receptionist. Score! Before they city girl gives away all of the details, let her tell you about her friend… Most importantly, she is one of the sweetest people the city girl knows. She had a lot on her plate at the time and needed a reminder that she was famously hot like her city, perhaps even more. So, the city girl thought it was just the opportunity to shower her friend with her floral fanaticism by sharing a cercy. After she snuck in, she deplored the receptionist to deliver the flowers to the desk of her friend. Success! For the second time. Double score! The city girl wasn’t sure her famously hot friend received her cercy until a photo popped up on facebook. She was relieved that covert operation number two was a success. See for yourself.
Note the city girl signed her cercy notes with a
. That’s the trick, a trademark. A trademark is wonderful two-fold. First, it helps you be elusive but also also is like a signature of sorts. Also, it helps encourage you to use it over and over again. After all, who doesn’t love a sweet photo popping up on facebook or an equally sweet tweet about a surprise cercy? No one the city girl knows. So, think up a trademark and use it, often. Until the next adventure.

I’ve always said that anything worthwhile can be found in Cayce. And you’re right, Elise is one fantastic lady. I’d like to be like her when I grow up.
April, they city girl agrees…Elise Partin is just fabulous! And so down to Earth. Who couldn’t just love her. I think more politicians should be like her. Yay for women in politics.
